PHOENIX, ARIZ., — Dr. Zuhdi Jasser issued this statement today, calling on Biden’s Department of Justice to start defending students in our colleges and universities from coordinated, pro-terrorist activist groups calling for their and our country’s destruction.

“Once again, the Biden Administration has chosen to go after its domestic political and ideological opponents instead of shutting down terror-activists who call for the destruction of Israel and America. Rather than targeting and harassing Christian colleges like Grand Canyon University, why isn’t the Biden Administration protecting all students – especially students who are being physically threatened by terror, hate, and bigotry?

“International terrorist leaders are watching and applauding the pro-Hamas student groups on campuses across the country, who are parroting their genocidal messages, often verbatim. As but one example of the blatant pro-terror ideology of these groups, Students for Justice in Palestine publicly displays statements of support for terrorism. In many cases, these terrorist-inspired chants and protests go beyond rhetoric: they amount to material support for terrorism, which is prohibited by federal and many state laws. I’ve called publicly for revoking the visas of foreign students who endorse or espouse terrorism.

“Pro-terror activism should not be taken lightly. The students being threatened on their own campuses are being ignored. We have the tools to crack down. We must use them. I call on President Biden’s Department of Justice to stop engaging in petty abuses of power, get serious, and enforce material support for terrorism statutes to shut down these radical, pro-terror groups.”
